Catch up – 111 days

Confession time – I missed a couple of days! A common occurrence in my life over the last few years! Tomorrow I think it is time to share a bit more of my story before asking you all to join me on my Have-a-Go-Heroes journey. In my defence, we have company for the weekend, my lovely sister-in-law Gilly and her husband. With how my brain works now, this takes some preparation mentally.

Anyway, I checked Chris’s marathon bible for the missing days. Every day he provides space for the potential marathon runner to record how well they ate, how much water they drank and what kind of human they were that day; kind, thoughtful, present? Then he encourages them to plan three things they will be better at tomorrow. Finally, there is space to record three things you are grateful for.

These things are good for all of us, I think. So here goes!

I ate OK-ish

I did not drink enough water!

I was kind, thoughtful and present – I had two beautiful conversations with people I had not spoken to for a while!

What will I be 1% better at? Eating, drinking and blogging!

What am I grateful for? My husband, my dogs, and music! Not necessarily in that order!

This picture is of our visitors with the husband, my daughter Zoe, and Dylan, of course! We had a lovely lunch with all our dogs at our favourite cafe.
